Bombay, 2016
Moving to Bombay was confusing.

Nobody here lets you leave hungry.

The rules
You say no once.
That means maybe.
You say no twice.
That means they're bringing another plate.
You say "just chai."
Suddenly there are snacks, opinions, and someone's uncle.

And honestly? It made American snack culture feel.....

America
A little lonely.

Perfectly portioned things. Designed for efficiency. Eaten standing up.

India
Flavour. Generosity. Chaos.

The deeply optimistic belief that one snack can fix most situations.

So we started wondering
Could you build snacks for modern life without losing any of that?

That question became Lester's.
